A Random Thought - Arts VS Science Again

This is an email excerption, on my little sister's study in China.

数学好的话物理不会差到哪里去吧。学文科的话最重要的不就是历史政治，或者马克思哲学那一套，不晓得中学学不学哲学。我昨天无意中看了一下去年的高考语文、英语、政治试题等，各地考题好像不一样，还有自学考试的马克思哲学原理和邓小平理论试题。语文除了诗句默写背不上来一句，其他的基本功力都还在，但感觉有的辨别错别字等就是钻牛角尖，纯属折磨学生幼小的生命。文言文看的速度和白话文差不了多少，原来读过一点三国志。作文的话好像是写纪念，我立马想到写纪念赵紫阳，要是那样写算是见了个鬼。英语大概和四级持平，纯属哄小孩玩儿，感觉还是过多偏重类牛角尖的语法，不是真正的英语水平。自考的共产党那一套我也能八九不离十的猜出编题者所要的“标准答案”，但要我自由地按自己真正思考后去选择，我看是基本没有答案，或者是把我的答案写在一边，结果就是得零分。所以我说不要学文科一个简单的道理就是在这里，因为他要学的并不是普世的公理，不容你真正去思考的，小孩子也没有那个能力去思考，没有脱离中学校园的学生如何去思考一个全中国人民都解决不了的社会发展的根本问题？而且历史书里特别是一个世纪以来的中国近现代史，有太多的不真实的东西，不是我说的，是外界的历史学界现在一个比较普遍的认识，要学生去学这些不真实的历史还要记住其中的历史逻辑和历史必然性，其实就是误人子弟。所以说要学理科的东西，那些是自然科学，多半不是现代中国人发明的，而且一就是一，二就是二，一加一就等于二，是真正的实事求是，逻辑推理和抽象思维，是对世界科学巨子的人类遗产精华的探索和继承。对一个人教育的最终影响就是理性智慧，尊重事实，敬重自然，而不会愚昧不化，藐视真理，无神自大。

一点感想。
