A Quick Letter To An Old Friend
(For native speakers, pls forgive my crappy English, as well as all of the rest in this blog written in English...)
Hey, the name in the email sender field still reminds you something? Hope that I'm not so forgettable anyway.
This email is not from anyone who you might think is spoofing my email account or anyone else you might think is not me, yes, it's from me, the old little bug, ha! :-) I just assume that you may feel uncomfortable to read a piece of email whose writer has had no contact with you for a long period of time that is out of calculation, so, I feel necessary to authenticate myself here first.
I'm just listening to some old songs on my computer, which reminded me of many familiar people and experience when we are only teenage girls and boys. Human's memory and emotion are a rather mysterious thing, both biologically and religiously, as far as I'm concerned, I truly can't figure it out with my limited wits. And I still refuse to believe how time has gone so fast and so many things have already been altered inside out, no childishness, simplicity, even trueness remain in our life anymore, all our lives are filled with endless money, career, or prestige pursuit, at the meantime, we are getting more and more ambitious, "lustful", unsatiable, arrogant, jealous, vigilant, impatient, and even mendacious and snobbish.
So, how are things going in your life right now? Hope those derogatory-sense words described above not apply to you, and not to myself too. In case that we run too far way from our "simple-minded" but could be the truest lifestyle as teeny-boppers, I'm now emailing you hoping from there you could find some resonance, based on whatever you have experienced these years with or without the word "huanggang".
The more we learn, the more we experience, the more likely that we are able to find our ignorance yet life's true meaning, and further to find out that our life time is so countable, our intelligence is so limited, and our wisdom is so unworthy of mention. Agree? How many times you've felt helpless and vacant in your mind when facing an unsurmountable task, and how many times you've felt that the clock is right ticking on your head when something has a nonnegotiable due date?
What time went back and allowed us to relive? Can we manage to remain the plainness and purity without having to be evolved in so much unnecessary complexity and excruciation?
I don't know, really don't.
Drop me a line sometime when you are not feeling exhausted though, telling me your exciting news; wish you happy in the new chapter of your life. (Do I guess right? Hehe...)
(One more thing, my informal weblog on Blogger.com: http://zhaozhong.blogspot.com/ . I don't know whether you can get access to the site in Hong Kong, because the Chinese government has ordered to block the site since 2002 (for political but never pornographic reasons maybe). Mostly entertaining stuff I wrote and post in English & Chinese, hope you still can read and browse it in your leisure time without much linguistic or technical difficulty.)

You should really switch to MSN SPACE because it is a bigger community. And as soon as your blog is updated, we know it through MSN. I just keep forgetting to visit your blog.

Ah, doesn't matter, it's all about personal preference, nothing important, I do not earn money through clicking rate. And, there is an XML link for the site, just add it to your RSS reader if you wish. I can post the coming ones on MSN too, if you do demmand.
