A Super Chess Game Played in 1851
I was reprimanded by somebody to be too lazy not to update my blog recently, ha! Well you know, I have to acknowledge that the chess is so addictive that once I picked it up again I just unconsciously used the time initially allocated to write the blog to exercise all the chess stuff of openings, middle-game tactics, and endgame, and so forth. I know there is a thick encyclopaedia just about chess wisdom, which makes the amateur players even more timid enroute to develop both their strategic skills and balanced psychology. You know one fact is that the game is so complex that not even the best players can consider all contingencies: "although only 64 squares and 32 pieces are on the board, the number of possible games that can be played far exceeds the number of atoms in the universe". I used to get some Chinese books of chess but before I even got time to read some chapters I lost them to nowhere. However, there does have many superior high-rating players at Yahoo Chess, particularly in the advanced rooms where many short-time games are played in which they are competing like damn machines, sometime you even wonder how the heck they made the decision and clicked the mouse so lightning fast! I even doubt both the black and white didn't care the results at all and just came around doing some mouse-clicking routine and humiliating the audience!
Here is a game called "the immortal game" with the opening of King's Gambit – Accepted, played in 1851 between Adolf Anderssen and Lionel Kieseritsky, which should be in many chess case books. What I can only do is to enjoy the beauty of sacrifice and sighed over my miserable and dim outlook on chess…
